Scenario: Caster kill

Setup:
Gorten wins toss, decides to let Kreoss deploy first.

Kreoss (Deployment):
Kreoss deploys in the far right end. Redeemer in the middle, crusader on the left, revenger on the right. Choir behind and Kreoss in the middle behind.

Gortan (Deployment):
Thor and Basher deploys on the left. Gortens battlegroup opposite Kreoss.

Round 1 (Kreoss)
Kreoss casts lamentation and defensive ward on the redeemer. Choir sings the song about missed ranged attacks. All jacks and models runs forward.

Round 1 (Gorten)
Thors battlegroup runs up the left flank. Gorten casts Strength of Granite on the driller and solid ground. Models shuffle around a bit, not really advancing.


Round 2 (Kreoss)
Kreoss battlegroup moves a bit forward. Choir sings the +2 song. Redeemer opens fire on the driller and inflicts hefty damage.

Round 2 (Gorten)
Thors battlegroup runs forward on the left, in behind a large rocky outcrop hiding them from sight. Gortens group can't stay put as the redeemer outshoots them and moves forward. One gunbunny opens fire on the choir, but misses. The other Gunbunny opens fire on the redeemer but only nicks it.


Round 3 (Kreoss)
Kreoss battlegroup moves a bit backward again. Choir sings the +2 song. Redeemer opens fire on the driller and inflicts yet again hefty damage and cripples the driller badly. Cortex gone. Crusader hides in the middle of the group to avoid the basher.

Round 3 (Gorten)
Thors group runs around the rocky outcrop and flanks Kreoss, next turn they can't avoid the basher. Bunnies and Gorten fires at the redeemer, but either miss or do little damage.


Round 4 (Kreoss)
Kreoss battlegroup finally advances, Redeemer cripples the driller even more, only the grappler stays functional. It also cripples the rightmost gunbunny. Crusader advances up the middle, ready to charge. Revenger also advances and Kreoss casts a spell at the gunbuny, crippling it even more. Only the movement system stays online.

Round 4 (Gorten)
Thor tunes up and drives the basher forward. He advances and takes out a choir member (mistake, can not tune up and fire in the same round). The basher slams the redeemer into the crusader, follows up and pecks it to scrap. Basher fires its flak field and kills a choir member. The crippled gunbunny moves up on the right and moves in front of the revenger. The leftmost gunbunny advances and shoots for 6 damage on the crusader. Gorten moves up, casts molten metal on the crusader and then fires a double barrel shot for 4 damage. Gorten the feats and landslides the Revenger into the gunbunny roadblock and the crusader into the drillers waiting arms. The driller (with only one functional system) thrashes the crusader into oblivion.

Round 5 (Kreoss)
Kreoss keeps the focus and concentrates on the basher, charging in and crippling it badly. The revenger pushes the gunbunny away and scratches its paint. Only one damage point remaining.

Round 5 (Gorten)
Thor advances and fires at kreoss, dealing 8 damage and lights him up (continuous fire). The basher moves out of the firing lane and is demolished by Kreoss free strike. Remaining gunbunny fires at Kreoss, but misses. Gortens first boosted shot misses, but the second hits and deals 6 or so damage. The rightmost gunbunny ties the revenger up again. Driller moves up towards the revenger.

Round 6 (Kreoss)
Kreoss does the burny dance and dies by fire damage

Gorten WINS!

Thoughts;
* Must check if drive is an action or not.
* Casters on fire are nasty.
* Shoud probably kept the basher in close combat and fired the flak field, then pronto:ed him out of the way and then opened fire. Would have given me an extra strength 12 hit.
* Redeemers do nasty damage to heavy jacks when fully buffed (stationary, +2 song)
* Gunbunnies make excellent road blocks. Also interesting to slam light jacks with them.
* Basher is really fun when it can do what it's supposed to do, i.e. slam and then flak.

Roligt att läsa din rep's som vanligt! Verkar varit intense.

hmm.. Både Repair och Tune up är en special action som man gör istället för sin vanliga action, men inte drive:pronto. Det står att du kan göra det när som under hans activation. Så då finns det inget som hindra honom att flejma i samma runda Smile

yep, drive kan jag göra närsomhelst för varje jack i min jack marshals battlegroup. Men om jag vill göra Tune up eller Repair så kan jag inte springa eller grilla någon.
