"Put da Gretchin' ta work and loot deese lads!", Warboss Grogork lit his cigar
on the smoldering corpse of the Eldar Avatar and eyed the battlefield. Lots
twisted bodies lay about, but it seemed to Grogork that the main enemy had
survived the battle. Warlock Erion was nowhere to be found. A drunken singing
from afar made Grogorks ear itch. "Leonorko!". "Yes, my master of infinite
wisdom?". "Can you hear dat slightly off-tune drunken singin' comin' from
behind dat ridge?". "Yes master of funnel shaped ears, that's slightly better
than what the shoota boys normally produce though.". Grogork and Leonorko
crept stealthily up ridge and looked down upon a war party of Space Wolves,
slightly drunk and moving between old and wicked looking technology". "Dat's
da lads who krumped you?". "Oh, yes, I remember that venerable dreadnought
over there.". "Allright, form up da lads, wiv' gots an ambush to do.", Grogork
smiled and shouted at the ranks of boys waiting to leap over the ridge:

"WUTS DA TAKTIK!"
"CHOPPA DER DAKKA, DAKKA DER CHOPPA"
"WUTS DA FALLBACK TAKTIK?"
"CHOPPA DER CHOPPA WIV DA DAKKA!"
"YARR! GET EM LADS!"


As the sun rose over the horizon, Bjorn Flamefist saw a sea of greenskins looking grim across the terrain. "This will end badly", the Venerable Dreadnought thought to himself.

As the sun rose further, the horde came crashing down on the Space Wolves forces pushing them hard and after many hours of hard fighting did the last remaining Blood Claw run to cover from the orcs with bullets hailing over him from all directions. It was a formidable battle indeed!

BATTLE REPORT:
Mission: Victory points (3 objectives)
Deployment: Dawn of war

Deployment (Orks): Shoota boys, Deff dread and Big Mek Leonorko secures the
mid field.
Deployment (SM): Venerable dreadnought deploys to the right behind a ridge.


Turn 1 (Orks): All units move in, Koptas and buggies turbo boost into position.

Turn 1 (SM): Bikes turboboost behind the ridge, overtakes the venerable
dreadnought. Grey wolves move into the cover behind the dreadnought. Whirlwind
and blood claws take the other flank behind a big structure. Dreadnought
fires at slugga boys, kills 1. Whirlwind fires at shoota boys, but misses.

Turn 2 (Orks): Buggies and koptas move into position to fire at whirlwind.
Deff Dread blocks the passage for the wolf guard bikes, slugga boys prepare
to counter charge. Kannons open up on the dreadnought and destroys the
assault cannon. Buggies and koptas immobilise and destroy the missile launcher
on the whirlwind.

Turn 2 (SM): Bikes move slightly towards the deff dread. Venerable dreadnought
tries to flank and get away from slugga boys. Grey wolves move further into
the cover. Bikes fire combi-meltas at deff dread, but only shakes the deff dread.
Bikes charge the deff dread and gets counter charged by the slugga boys. Two
boys dies of attacks while the deff dread tears one bike apart and the warboss
krumps the other 4.

Turn 3 (Orks): Koptas swivel around to fire at the dreadnought. Slugga boys
pursue the dreadnought, warboss leaves the slugga boys. Deff dread takes up the
rear behind the slugga boys. Lots of fire on the venerable dreadnought, but
only shakes it. Sluggas charge the venerable dreadnought and tears its powerfist
off.

Turn 3 (SM): Grey wolves move out toward the lonely warboss. Blood claws emerge
and fires melta at a buggy, but misses. Grey wolves fire at the warboss, but
do not wound him. Slugga boys tear the flamer of the Dreadnought.

Turn 4 (Orks): Warboss and koptas advance towards the grey wolves. Shoota boys
and buggies move into firing positions on the blood claws. One grey wolf dies
from warboss kombi scorcha. 3 Blood claws dies from shoota boys and buggy
fire. Warboss assaults Grey wolves and kills the rest (6). Slugga boys
krump the dreadnought which explodes and kills 7 slugga boys.

Turn 4 (SM): Blood claws run from cover and assault the shoota boys. Blood claws
kill 5 boys, 4 blood claws die.

Turn 5 (Orks): All move towards last melee. Big Mek charges into the melee.
2 more blood claws die. 3 boys die. Big mek run bravely away.

Turn 5 (SM): 1 more blood claw die, last one run away.

Turn 6 (Orks): Orks open fire at last blood claw but bullets just clangs off the
armour. Battle ends.

Det är Peter som stått för loren med vissa inslag från mig

WTF???

3 blood claws kom inte in i assault range, så bara 5 kunde attackera, en hade PF, en hade PW.

3 normal marines * 4 attacker * 1/2 träffchans * 1/2 woundchans * 5/6 not-armour-saving = ~2.8? boys
1 PW marine * 4 attacker * 1/2 träffchans * 1/2 woundchans = 1 boy
1 PF marine * 3 attacker * 1/2 träffchans * 5/6 woundchans = ~1? boys

~5 boys statistiskt sätt, Håkan hade otur med träffarna för marinesen, men slog en extra-attack med PF:en som vi inte kom på förrän senare.


14 boys + nob med PK kvar för retaliation, har för mig att nobben tog 2 och 14 boys 2. Blood claws har bara 3 i WS, så boys träffar på 3+ också.

14 boys * 2 attacker * 2/3 träffchans * 1/3 woundchans * 1/3 not-armour-saving = 2.22 döda marines :-)
1 nob * 3 attacker * 2/3 träffchans * 5/6 woundchans = ~1,8? döda marines.

~4 marines statisktiskt sätt. Jag hade tur med nobben och plockade två.

Så 5 mot 4 stämmer rent statistiskt :-)
